The Bahamas: An Excellent Investment
There are many reasons for investing in the Bahamas. One of these reasons is a stable economy. English is the primary language spoken in the Bahamas. Property is inexpensive, and there is great potential due to the close proximity of the United States (a 35 minute plane ride from South Florida). There will be tens of millions of baby boomers retiring in the next ten years, with an estimated spending power of over two trillion dollars annually. A large number of these baby boomers retire to Florida, but this is changing, due to a combination of spiraling real estate prices, high property taxes, overcrowded beaches and waterways, high volumes of traffic, and scarcity of waterfront land. California and Las Vegas are even more expensive.
