Eleuthera
is approximately 110 miles long and only 2-3 miles wide.
It is located 200 miles from Florida.
Like many islands in the Bahamas, the beaches of Eleuthera
and many of its cays are simply stunning.
On one side of Eleuthera is the Atlantic Ocean, and on the
other side is the Caribbean Ocean.
There are many interesting places to visit on the island; in
the north are Harbor Island, Hatchet Bay, Gregory Town, Current
Island, the Bluff, and Spanish Wells.
To the south of the island are Waterford, Wemyss Bight,
Palmetto Point, Rock Sound, and Governor's Harbor.

Just
off the northern tip of Eleuthera is a small island called
Harbor
Island
This gem was voted
Best
Island
in the
Caribbean
by "Travel & Leisure Magazine" in July 2005, and
recently the magazine "Caribbean Life" rated
Harbor
Island
's beaches among the top ten beaches in the world.
This is certainly not a place to be missed, especially when
looking for real estate.
